This event brings together the most active, like-minded members of the Youth Time International Movement from around the world, who support such values as community involvement, responsibility, intercultural dialogue and an active approach to the future. The School is aimed at getting young people the skills they need to enhance their modern life. Participants have an opportunity to train their skills in the areas of personal skills, project development, organizational skills and effective communication.
This year, Summer
School topic is “Crisis and society: issues of management”. YT calls for
participants who are willing to play a more active role in positive
social changes.
Societies today are facing processes
of social disintegration and increased uncertainty. Alarming cases of conflict
escalations, social detraditionalization and atomization, weakening
value foundations and propagating stereotypes threaten different societies.
Participants will have an opportunity to improve their skills related to building collective forms of thinking and activity. Young leaders from different countries selected to join the event will study key approaches to public and people-to-people diplomacy, conflict resolution, risk management and breaking stereotypes.
